It'll be interesting to see where prices go in the next year or so. Most people tend to think luxury cars get smashed, but that's not always the case. Volume of sales will likely go down but not necessarily the prices. Luxury items like coins, cars, watches, artworks are sometimes where the money goes during these times - and most people that own a $200k+ car aren't exactly on the bones of their arses. Either way I'll be keeping my eyes open for a stablemate for mine...
I'm not very old, but IME prices of cars get crushed every time the economy goes down the toilet. Possibly not very rare ones, but any mid engine V8 will be hit hard. It's already started.
