    My buddy stopped by my hangar with a red Pitts Special, so naturally a photo op, especially since a Pitts is often referred to as the "Ferrari of the Sky".

    Correct. I picked the size to have overall diameter of front and rear wheels the same. Next step is to lower the car an inch or so to cut down on the fender gap.

    OEM is 1/2" larger in the rear and chasis rake is set with that. So if they are the same size you 'll need chassis adjustment to restore the factory balance and proper chassis rake. Once you set the factory rake you may have a challenge with gap. I think 360 wheels suit the 348 with the strakes but I'd machine 15mm off the rear hub. Nice pick on the 360 wheels.:)

    I think so, the paint definitely looks better than when it was delivered to me 28 years ago. But it should look good it only has 1954 miles on it and has been properly cared for. It’s for sale, there’s an ad for it in the classifieds.
