I think f8 is a great looking car however I noticed the brake lights and the daytime running lights are a bit weird. Is it only me or am i missing something?

I think that's because they are LED so they may look strange when filmed depending on background light.
The registration plate is a temporary Dutch plate, isn't it?

The inside light is the brake indicator. What's the issue. BTW- Sound is pretty good.

The F430 had a similar taillight setup. Slightly different between euro and U.S., though. I replaced mine with newer LED versions by Scudding Swiss, and part of the setup let me choose which lights come on for braking, plus other options like brake force flashing. Seems to be the way Ferrari has configured the quad-taillight cars for a long time. Might be regulatory but not sure.
