In trying to figure out if design rendering done with the old fashioned methods (was it vellum and colored chalk or pencils--will be worth more than computer generated renderings? What paper do automakers print the modern ones on? (I use a gloss finish paper called Kromecoat from Kelly Paper 90 weight or a thick matt finish paper called Linen from Kelly for the mockups and final presentation prints)Or are there a lot less printed of the modern ones, since much of the direction is evolved while it's still on the computer screen? So from now on having a rendering to take home from the automaker you work for is going to be rare?

If you are going for roots originality, I'd go for the "back of a napkin" sketch.
