I appreciate any help. I am a new Ferarri 348 owner and my left hand radiator leaks where the plastic meets the metal and finding a used or even rebuilt or custom made one has been almost impossible for me.

I have a guy telling new to send it to him and he can rebuild it for about $1000 all in.

My problem with that is, with my luck, I get the part back and it leaks.

Anyone know where to get a good used one or a custom made one?

thanks in advance for the help!

I sourced my left and right radiators from Superformance in the UK, great quality alloy radiators, they sell them for the 348 too: http://www.superformance.co.uk/348/cooling.html

Make sure it’s not the drain plug leaking first. I had the same problem on my left radiator and I fixed by changing the drain plug.
As per finding a new radiator I believe you can get one from superformance in UK and the price is around $700 for the alloy upgraded version!

"he can rebuild your radiator for $1,000" ?
He is not really aware of the market, is he?
Buy new from SF. That is not an impossible item to find.

In addition to others' suggestions, you might also try Griffin, www.griffinrad.com, or Power Cool Systems, www.powercoolsystems.com. The latter used to be called Saldana. You could probably do a search for the FChat thread, but a number of years ago, I recall that one of the 348 guys had Saldana make replacement TIG-welded aluminum rads for his 348. They might still have measurements/drawings in their system, which could help them be a bit more competitive on pricing.

That said, it's going to be hard to beat Superformance's pricing.

    Rebuild should cost about 300.

An oem from Ferrari is about £800-1000

Superformance is £700. just fitted one two weeks ago. Next day delivery here in the UK!!

you should have no problems sourcing parts like this.
