    I saw some ppl get an
    Upgraded wheel and it worked miraculously... as far as the fees they make them
    As they go.
    Ferrari of sf wanted 1500 and Ferrari of Sillicon valley more... go figure ;)

    just telling you my experience on a 2016 f12. maybe earlier cars have a different ECU that includes the proxy line, but mine doesn't and currently i have installed the LED wheel no lights yet waiting for ECU flash from dealer.

    Oh i agree with u! I’m the OP and got the same info as u ... I just was saying I saw some cars where it was plug and play... the ecu charge seems arbitrary ;)

    2016 F12 just finished the ECU flash
    2500 charge from Ferrari corporate
    550 charge from dealer for shop time, programming the proxy line, communications with Italy

    everything works fine

    I got it done by my indi 500 total. Ferrari overcharges.

    wow i was told independants didn't have access to proxy line info!
