Seems like a good deal on a well specced car. I always thought for a first purchase on a newer Ferrari it would be better to some relationship with a dealer for service warranty issues etc. I wonder why a car like this would not be turned back in to the dealer where it was purchased, but maybe the buyback numbers they are offering are so low....

I saw a similar spec and milage two weeks ago in West Palm Beach at $289,000. Sold quickly of course.

Just my opinion but unless you're bullish on a coveted allocation in the future or for another reason very set on building a relationship with your local dealer, I would just buy the car you want at the price you find acceptable

Any dealer will honor the 7 year service pack and be happy to take your money otherwise for other service/maintenance stuff (tires labor etc), would hope for the same for warranty (no first hand experience there)

I guess that is the other question. Maybe 312 ask isn't such a good deal after all. Its funny that all the dealer and Ferrari.com pre-owned sites still are listing the cars at 390+. Interesting to see what the actual sales prices are.

Just purchased a 2019 812 from a dealer. I spent 5 months negotiating with Ferrari dealers on multiple 812s. Some will negotiate more than others depending if the car is co-signed or not. I found a couple of mid-mileage (3 to 5K) cars for about $100K off MSRP. Those cars were “re-sale” red. Now is a great time to get into a 812.

Not sure it's the case in the US but I have the feeling that Ferrari dealers now have more cars on consignment (rather than owned by the dealer) - in which case they are not the only player when negociating, leading to each case being very specific (rather than a uniform dealer policy).

Red is not a good colour for GTs ....assuming GPF version sounds as bad as it some of the comments seem to suggest (incl 812 VS) , the non GPF cars might indeed find a bottom...i think it still will take a few months for distressed sellers to clear out ...a 8k miles fully spec'd car at an online auction sold for £205k few days ago...that's about USD150-180k below retail

£211,000 inc buyer commission. To put in context was nearly 9000 miles and an ex dealer demonstrator.Still a great buy though and in TDF blue (my favourite front engined V12 colour) !
