Here's one for ya. The other day I parked my 2004 Spider in the garage and raised the top. It fell into place on top of the the windshield frame as it always has but then I noticed it was dripping what looked like a little water from the front onto the console. When I reached up to feel the water it turned out to be fuser oil. It was light, clear, and oily so I assume that's what it is.
Anyone ever hear of this happening? I had the bands that pull on the top replaced a year or so ago. Seems really odd. Any thoughts?

The seals in the hydraulics in the top are leaking. They all do it. Just buy a set of rebuilt cylinders/actuators and you'll be good. At this point you'll probably have to do all of them.

Check the top hydraulic oil level.. it will be lower.

Hi guys I just posted in a separate thread and I have this same issue...

Where do you buy the rebuilt cylinders/actuators? How hard is it to replace? I assume it has to be flushed/bled after replacement?

Where is the top fluid reservoir located?
