Has anyone found a blendmount that will work for this application? There was a prior discussion of an F12 model, but I'm not sure of the equivalence. Joe

I just checked the blendmount site again, but still no model-specific mounts. Are there other reasonable options besides suction cups?

Here’s the advice directly from Blendmount:

You need the FER-002 mirror blendmount that I included in last response, so the correct BlendMount for your MAX360 is the BMX-2034:

and the correct MirrorTap, if you need a power cord also, is the MTX-1015:

Hi All, I was hoping for some advice on removal of the mirror trim piece. It appears to be tucked under the headliner. I'd like to have some idea where the attachment points are before attempting removal and possibly breaking the plastic. Here are some photos for reference. I am attempting to install the mirrortap as it would be near impossible once the blendmount is in place. Thanks in advance. Joe

Haven't done it myself. Back then, I ended up tapping into the fusebox near driver's left knee and running the wire down the a-pillar. My Uniden R3 is attached via suction cups because I want it as high as possible.

Any idea why Bendmount not have you go with one of the “specialty” models that has a offset to the left for the Radar detector? Not sure what it is, but there is a sensor or something bottom center of the mirror. Can that be blocked?

I'm not sure, but the blendmount that they suggested did not actually fit, and they do not have an alternative model.

Is it mounted upside down? i.e does it fit the other way if you rotate the mount 180º?
