The story of Ferrari 250 GT SWB Bertone Speciale 3269GT and Bill Karp is featured in the current April, 2020 edition of UK magazine Classic & Sportscar.

Superb set of photos of the Bertone beauty by Mathieu Heurtault in the April 2020 Classic and Sports Car. Hope Bill Karp likes the feature as his story with the car inspired the feature. I’ve since discovered 3269GT was not originally blue when debuted at Geneva but a metallic brown. Bertone decided the colour was too dull and then repainted it silver.

we are kinda locked down here in LA. The only time I get out is driving in my 550 no stops nice long drive on Mulholland drive and back into my garage so would love it if you could find the time to send me a copy....Thanks :)

That magazine (issue) has just come out, I received my copy today only (in Switzerland).
So, maybe you should be more patient? I know that such mags arrive in USA usually several weeks later (Barnes & Noble, etc.).

Nothing to do with being patient was just inquiring if Michael have had time to send me a copy.... Even if the magazine had arrived here in United States nothing is open magazine stands are all shut down.

I assume that a package with mags currently takes two or more months.
A simple letter in an envelope from CA to Switzerland (where I live) currently takes more than four weeks............(yeah, I know, nobody writes letters anymore today).

    Hi, Bill.

I’m not certain, but you might be able to purchase a single issue from the magazine’s web site. I’m hearing that magazines that would have been distributed to newsstands during the shutdown are just never going to show up because they’ll always only want to have the most recent issue available. So it’s possible that the April issue of C&SC will never show up on B&N’s racks.

    All the best,

    Jack.

Centerfold on Fairfax near Melrose sometimes hangs onto issues a couple months in arrears, Bill. Might be worth swinging by for a look (think they may be deemed "essential"?).

    Hi, Bill.

Mick probably doesn’t check this site very often, so you might try contacting him at the email address he provided.

Is there proof that the car was light green?
If so, when was that? Who was the owner at that point of time?
    Thanks!

Hi Everybody, I thought some of you might like to know that I have been corresponding with Antoine Prunet for quite sometime he is doing a book on my car
It should prove to be very interesting since we went over every little detail during my ownership of the car I also sent him numerous pictures.
    Cheers

Thanks for the heads up, Bill. Please let us know when you hear about a publication date. It’s a book I’d be interested in buying.
