My God, I never even thought of that. OK, please, someone post some pictures of OEM Mondial t "radios" thru the applicable years.

As for my Mondial, I believe Rod Stewart (first owner) had Rachel's sound system changed dramatically from stock. I haven't done further research on that topic, so I don't even know what a stock unit looked like back in 92. Honestly, I've never even tried to turn on "Rod's" radio in Rachel.........

"Why's that"?, you may ask. The answer - "I have an Italian Opera going on behind my head".

    Cheers,

    Hank

I did read somewhere that the speakers were installed in the factory, but that the stereos were a dealer installed option. My car probably has its original tape deck, a real period piece. The tape doesn't work, but I can't usually hear it anyway despite the huge amp under the passenger's feet.

I was looking at fitting a radio in my car, i have speakers fitted (by the factory) and the antenna (which works!) but no radio.
any suggestions as to a suitable radio, it needs to run the tweeter's in the dash & woofer in the door's, so preferably something with a high/low output, its either that or the opera from the back....

Who needs a radio in a car that has a great engine sound? I have seen many different radios installed in the T, I don't think there was a standard.

I had a 456 radio in mine for some time. It looked perfect. Had issues, so recently replaced with a more modern Sony. The "Ferrari" letters on the 456 radio were removed and put on the new Sony. Looks like it came that way.

    Regards,
    Jerry
