456 Knocking Noise

    I am hearing a knocking noise when driving even slowly in my 456. My first thought that it was the exhaust banging somewhere but I have had this checked on a shake test on an MOT ramp. You can only hear it when you are inside the car. It sounds like it is coming from the engine compartment on the driver side.The torque tube bearings were changed in the work I had done. Any chance it is related to this and something is loose in/on the gearbox?

    I had a similar noise after my torque tube was rebalanced and reinstalled. It turned out that a nut was not tightened and was very expensive for the transmission guys to correct. Hopefully you do not suffer from the same.
