Are the shields factory or stick on?
The best year for the 355 I was told was the 95's. Pretty car!

Just FYI shields were never an option until either '98 or '99 model years. So these are stick-ons.

I see the question asked above, but not answered: valve guides status? How about the exhaust manifolds?

I have at assume that the valve guides have not been done as we have never done them and i don't know the service history on the car prior the the current owner., they don't appear to be a problem at the moment.

exhaust manifolds are the original type and not leaking.

FYI, I have the same car but a 97 with roughly the same milage and my guides are also original. It doesn't burn any oil and compression is good so I didn't see a reason to replace them at the last major. My headers have been replaced with factory units and hyperflow cats before my ownership. Too many potential buyers out there are scared of everything that may happen in the future. If thats the case, they shouldn't be shopping for a ferrari in the first place IMHO. I bought from a private seller without a ppi. I looked it over, drove it, bought it. Sooo happy I did. Good luck with the sale.

    Thankyou !!!

This is a consignment car but I have personally owned 3 F355’s and still have one . When I was shopping I never passed on one because it didn’t have valve guides replaced .

That is because … to you, the valve guide issues costs $2000 or less. To others non shop owners, it's $12,000.

I have never done a valve guide job for $12 k . $9 to $10 tops and if you coincide it with a belt change it’s $3k more

For me, it cannot be merely $3k more for a valve job. The machine shop charges $4,000 for the valve job on the head. The head gaskets are $500 each, times two. And then there is the 16-20 hours of labor to remove and reinstall the heads. Maybe I need a cheaper machine shop and less expensive head gaskets.
