Only 8, maybe 12 years left before the end of the world anyway. Why sweat it worrying about expiry dates?
Instead of simply labelling it as quack science, please could you explain why it is quack science? Many of the points seem valid and the author seems to have plenty of real world engineering experience. I can’t see where the quackery is and would like to avoid falling into such traps in the future. The only major objection I have to the piece is that the postulated argument that the energy revolution parallels the information revolution comes across as something of a straw man.
