Pardon the time, but I am an experienced UK Ferrari owner (just sold my 488 Pista Spider - too digital for me) and thinking of buying a gated Spider. Perfect spec, below 10,000 miles, not bad for a near 25 year old car.

I already owned a mint GTS, always wanted a Spider.

Prices went up strongly 2012/2017 say. Since then very little demand, cars not really moving at all even at attractive prices. I mean no offers.

A mint 355 gated Spider was around £140,000 at peak, now asking £110,000. Not shifting.

A decent but not special car is £80,000.

Cash is king right now and for a focused seller I am assuming another 10pc is in the bag if one wants it and can close.

Anyone have a sense for where this is headed and why nothing is moving ?

2013 price for the car I am contemplating would have been £80,000. Not sure why it should be more in 2020, are you ?

    Thanks.

    Impatient !

There's loads of threads about the impact on car pricing but at the end of the day no-one knows and surely that especially applies to a US centric site in the context of a UK niche car

Look at some recent UK auction sales - my guess is £ 60 but for an undriveable collector car it may well be worth a premium to you

£60K would be a steal for a gated car considering where they have been. I contemplated a 430 in 2016 as 355s just seemed mad money. market will be hit no doubt but how and for how long ?
