Good luck. I think its really hard to sell cars right now on your own, so putting it on BaT is probably the best option. BaT is still moving some cars at pretty decent prices. Best of luck. I might even bid, although I definitely don't need another car.

I was looking at your car on BaT and saw that it didn’t sell
I’m a little concerned about the compression reading (which are probably just ok) and also some of the pictures showing the rust underneath. But would still be interested if you decide to sell it around the highest bid you got ... you said it was close
    Let me know please

Also , even though I sent you a message regarding the fiat Dino , I’m partially interested in those. I’m mostly interested in a 308 gt4 Dino and see that you’ve dealt with them as well. Let me know if you have any?

    Thanks

Nick and I will discuss and I’ll get back to you in a few days. I don’t have a GT4 currently.

    Ken,

    What was your BaT reserve?

I’ve sold two cars without a reserve on BaT, but my priority was to get rid of them rather than maximize dollars.

Can you shed a little light on the process? Did you and the high bidder have a chance to negotiate a deal? Any other thoughts?

    Matt

Well since this Dino is with Nick in CA, he was sent the high bidders contact info. We were within a few K of our reserve.

To the above "Mandi" guy, if he's the one who blew in with 2 mins to go about "bad" compression numbers, I would say 1. who are you to make these statements and 2. 150+ are fine for a 2.0L engine. Every person thinks they're a godamn vintage car SME but don't have the balls to bid. Oh well.

I think Nick will have a deal done with 1-3 of the high bidders within a few days, we were so close so it'll make sense to just take our loss and move on.

I won't say what we are in that car...

The Fiat Dino coupes drive like little Daytonas, except the steering is lighter. Great deal on this one.

No your not,I've always thought the spider was fussier, particularly in the front treatment, and not as well proportioned.

I think the spiders are a little squat looking, and kind of thick in the middle.
