is possible to ask for a few pics? 1. rear of the car, inside the engine bay. 2 cables that goes to the rear lock. I want to see what the cable's heat shield look like and its zip ties.\ 2. The screws that secure the mudguards.(to be removed by Phillips screw driver). There are 2 washers for each screw. Is the smaller washer a split washer or a regular one? 3. when you remove the front bumper, there are 4 big nuts inside of the front trunk to be removed. There's a washer under the nut. I need a pic of the washer. is it yellowish or whitish? 4. Same position for the rear bumper, the washer for 4 big nuts for the rear bumper. What is the diameter and color of the washer? 5. There are three nuts securing each of the half shaft heat shields. How many washers are under each of these nuts? 1 or 2? 6. To change oil filter, people usually remove the short bar near the center that was part of the gearbox frame(whitish). The short bar is secured to the gearbox frame by 6 screw. Two on top and four at the bottom. What does the bottom screw and washer look like? 7. Does it have a roll cage? The roll cage is secured by 6 bolts to the chassis. What does the bolt look like? Sorry for the OCD. I asked these because the parts I bought aren't the same as the ones that I removed from the car, which seems to be OEM. Dan- Very nice. I did not know you could degree the cams with the engine in place on the Type F131 engines. Guess that means you did the lifters, too.
Its not fun but no excuse to skip such an important step. Yes we always check lifters, this engine didn't need any rebuilt.
