Hello friends, looking to pick up a used tubi exhaust for the 308 QV. Anyone have one or leads on one? Thank you!

The exhaust that fits the 308/328/Mondial. I believe its Model #01028712000R.

I am going to guess Mondial QV and 308 QV? I did not know those were all the same muffler. Finding used may be a problem but I did see a new one advertised here very recently.

FWIW, I have one installed on mine and I really don't like it. It's a bit too loud in general and has a drone to it.

But maybe I'm just getting old.

Hi Matthew, the Tubi mufflers are the same for 308 QV/328/Mondial, in two versions - catalytic converter cars (US/Swiss) and no cat converter cars (rest of Europe). The cat converter mufflers have a single inlet; the no-cat mufflers have dual inlets (like the factory mufflers for each version).

Then there are regular and race versions; so that makes 4 Tubi versions to sort out when looking for a 4 valve 3.0 or 3.2 muffler. The regular is loud enough! (a little too loud for my liking in fact)

The model number you quoted ending in 'R' (post #3 in this thread) is a louder Race version. I don't know if it's a single inlet cat converter model or dual inlet no-cat model.

Edit - the no cat dual inlet regular Tubi is 000051096. I bought the muffler and headers from T Rutlands around 5 - 6 years ago.

This Tubi compared to OEM muffler:

Don't buy the "R" model: too high sound level. The standard noise Tubi is great

    Ciao
