    Ground espresso I like:

Illy - my favorite, the Intenso version, the wife thinks it's too strong. She likes the Classic version.

I do indeed! A cast iron Lodge wok, and I've been itching to use it outside. I love it. Only thing I would count against it, it's HEAVY! But, that means it holds heat very well, and instead of flipping the wok - Kung Fu Wok style - you keep the wok fixed and toss with a chuan & hoak (AKA spatula & ladle).

Have you ever seen this channel?

We do French press every day. Maybe two cups and my wife has one or two also. Then I have espresso or two before noon, then maybe a decaf in the evening. Hope that's not too much. Think there was a thread in Silver about how coffee was good for you. Some drink crazy amounts.

Some of my co-workers swear by tea. Lots of crazy teas out there. I've tried some from Adagio.

Dug into our corona-virus prepper stash, which is going to mean pasta most night...tonight was gniochi with a quick tomato and spinach and garlic sauce. I'd rate this a yum+

Oak is the best wood for smoking beef. I would encourage you and your neighbor to celebrate your good luck that no one/thing was hurt with the purchase of chainsaws and offset smokers!

We had a similar situation in our neighborhood in Memphis years ago. Folks weren't so lucky, tree hit the house and folks were at home. So injuries too. Glad everyone is safe. This is not the time to be having to go to hospital.

Sorry to hear about your friends, trees are dangerous.

    Yeah... oak is good.

This is the last time in 2016 a couple red oaks came down. I split over 10 cords.

Oh yeah, massive bbq at NbyNW's crib once this confounded pandemic is over!

We enjoyed the smoked salmon I made a week or so ago. Made it into a kind of paté, served with bread, and crudités.

Guess I should mention I love Stihl chainsaws. Nothing like a fine grilling BGE and a superb, well maintained saw every time it’s needed.

Talking about massive BBQs... on the farm a cow would occasionally get hit by lightning and from what I remember buzzards, etc would not “take care of it.” So we would put it on a big brush pile and burn/BBQ it all. A little (or a lot) of diesel fuel and it was a proper fire (BBQ?).

Jason...Bustelo full caf and Bustelo decaf, mix 50-50. Bustelo decaf has pretty good taste, and you can enjoy a half caf with reduced buzz...T

I did boring salad last night. Tonight I did a chicken breast in the crockpot and shredded it. Put it in a wrap. It was pretty good, but I put too much cheese inside. Tomorrow night, its moms spaghetti and meatballs...……….. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Publix supermarket here where I live has it for $6.99/lb. I bought a whole one at $149, and a half one at $70. I cut them into ribs and 1.5" - 2" steaks. I also cut off the suet to add to sirloin for good hamburger.

Aside from that, it was roast leg of lamb here tonight! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Ventured out to Kroger and purchased a couple of amazing looking bone-in-ribeyes...almost 3 lbs. for $16.81. Those steaks will hit the grill this weekend.
