The number of Ms is hard to pin down. at the time as far as I could confirm all Official Australian Ferrari's and other RHD cars were coming through Maranello's in the UK, and this is the order sheet for mine, I managed to get a screen shot from their database.
A Maranello document I got said there were only 32 imported into the UK, however I don't know if this included the Australian cars however I suspect it does.

I also placed an FOI request with the Department of Infrastructure on the first part of the Vin number and of the 7 cars imported 5 were Autos and 2 Manuals
I since been told that there are others but the official data I got is all I had to go on.

I have to totally agree with you Gizz....After nearly 10 years of owning the 550 ( Off the 456 platform ) it’s been fantastic...Just regular maintenance...We had a Porsche Cayenne for 5 years and that ownership was a total nightmare...

Agreed. I can’t believe you guys are not even allowed to go for a drive and not get out of your car!
It really is the Socialist Republic of Victoriastan.

Today’s my last day of leave before going back to work tomorrow and I can assure you I’ll be going for a drive in the 355 and may even stop and buy a pie somewhere in the hills.

The worst experience for any first-time Ferrari owner is to buy a deferred maintenance car and that's what happened to Graeme. I can assure you he's a smart guy, he just wasn't aware of specific 456 issues, such as valve guides and window mechanisms. The previous owner probably sold the car because he knew the guides were on the way out and that it was a $30K job.

A mate of mine bought a "cheap" 365GT4 with a 400 motor in it. He's since had to pour a ton of money in and is not a happy camper.

I would have liked a 550 but they were just out of reach, 550 has different heads hydraulic lifters and manifold and no dodgy valve guides the 456 Has solid lifeters, no self leveling suspension, so no leaking shocks or popup headlights that wink at people one light at time and 5 year belt service Ferrari kept the M at 3 years. But the 550 and 575 still have the oil pump drive chain issue, sorry all inexcusable on a 500K car when new, Yes the 550 much better car and hence the price and yes I would still like one.

Must admit it would be one of the last cars to go in my garage...The 360 would be one of the first ,unfortunately my wife likes driving it....

I'm presuming you're all bangin' on about this....................they've seen the light..
Victoria Police has withdrawn a $1,652 fine issued to a 17-year-old learner driver, for disobeying social restrictions by going out on a driving lesson with her mother.

But, you drove it! You probably let Harry drive it, which would be worse. I didn't think it would be that one, but didn't think there'd be too many 365's with 400 transplants around either...

This particular car came from Perth, Blu Chiaro over black. Original engine threw a rod.

400 engines are cheap 'cos plenty of unloved donor cars, particularly in the US.
