    ... and if you are smart enough to get the rack out of the car, I don't think the overhaul would present too many challenges :D

    (For the uninitiated, the rack is notoriously difficult to get out of the car)

    It's beyond difficult.
    I am pretty sure someone posted a thread on how to rebuild the power rack on a 355, complete with where to get the rebuild kit.

    So you can slow down the steering and make the frond end settings more conservative?

    Wait... so everyone loved the 355's hydraulic telepathic and lively steering feel over the 348 slow lifeless steering feel? Not sure that's not true. Maybe update the 355 power steering to the challenge spec that would be a GREAT option for a 355 I suspect.

    You need a different rack, like the Fiarino rack.

    I have manual steering on my F355 Challenge. Very highly recommended for the ultimate in feedback.
