I am just using the current 675LT as a predictor for future 765LT specs. There are around 40 for sale in the US, none of which include those options. Indeed, I’ve been monitoring the 675LT for nearly a year and I don’t recall a car that had both (other than the super specialty 1 of 12 versions that, frankly, are ridiculous in price at $600,000 plus). Maybe the 765LT ends up differently, but I doubt it. I think both those options combined will cost north of $50,000, thereby driving the overall car north of $500,000.

How long before McLaren announces the 'full bare carbon body' option? And then, of course, the LT Spider? (which will hold value best on average, correct)

Damn, just looked at some listings. 675LT and 720S are same price range. 675LT might be more fun, but, you gotta go with the 720S. Depreciating 720's are going to hurt 675 sales I would think, IMO.

720s definitely hurt 675s. Just so much more performance for the same money at the time of release. I believe 675s will go back up and 720s will flatten soon. There is nothing close to them today in the current price range.

They are phenomenal cars but McLaren needs to assemble them with more engineering than double sided tape. I'm not joking. The amount of double sided tape on a McLaren is friggin hilarious.

This thing makes an F8 look like a 360. Not usually a fan of the futuristic designs but I like this.

the 675 is such a tremendous bargain at $200k. I think it’s better looking than the 720S and probably more fun to drive. Only driven 720 though so can’t confirm.

They are built better than the non LT cars as well. If you look at one closely you can see that McLaren really took there time with these when putting them together.

It adds up fast. The $36,340 MSO Defined Carbon Fiber Roof Scoop is a 'gotta have' for this car. It looks killer and is functional.
    Base $358k. What's maxed out? $4xx?

I still have questions on what's considered std. For example I thought the carbon fenders were an option but they might be std.

Does the 765 mean that there is a replacement coming for the 720?

I think longer than that right? LT, then LTS, then replacement. I think that product cadence might stretch out 30-36 months?

For delivery of vehicles yes But online launch of replacement model is more of what I was thinking in terms of 18- 24 months

Problem w the roof scoop this time around is that it's pretty much a "faux" scoop and won't run through the cabin to the engine like the 675LT. Fake it till you make it I guess?

Fender louvers are standard this time around. That was smart.

The roof scoop in this one is NOT functional, besides pushing grime and air to the engine as 'cooling'. What this car really needs is clubsport pro + 6 point, senna brake disks, the front louvers, some interior carbon, the rest as is, maybe the 30k option on painted carbon body panels intead of paying 30k for fashion carbon of the package 2. Find some cool color combos and that's it.
Enjoy the money saved on hard driven track days. Car comes with pretty much all it needs and a bunch of stuff as no cost option.

Would like to see a proper lightweight build, no stereo, no ac, all the carbon, all the lightest options, proper benchmark spec, bar that, is pretty much all clatter.

Love this car and have a spider slot. Planning options. Can’t wait.

Can’t help but laugh about the depreciation chatter. My 488 has depreciated just as much as my 720 in the last two years. Huracans are similar. Outside of LE cars it’s similar for all of them, particularly with pricey options like carbon, wheels, out of range paint, etc. Funny thing is every time I drive my cars I don’t think about that at all. Particularly the 720. Instead I’m astonished at its performance and abilities far exceeding its price point.
