Today’s project. Installed a “new” to me set of18 inch Speedline wheels (which took years to find) on my single lug ‘86 Testarossa. Complete with new Pilot Sport tires. Got me out of the house here in CA during this “Stay at Home” Coronavirus period! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
At least you can now afford the fuel.....- Good luck with the lock down over there. We have been locked down for a week and I'm 3 days into a 14 days quarantine stay prior travelling to work and already bored to near death! Best regards Peter
Yes, the mirrors have been “lowered” and also doubled! I am the second owner. The original owner had the two lower mirrors installed to improve visibility and to give the car that new model car look. Didn’t want to be seen driving around in a last years model ferrari I guess. I still have the single high mirror and remote switch to have it converted it back if I wish. Other than that the car is completely original and has only 9,700 miles now. It is nice to be able to see behind but I often think I should revert it. I have that dang originality gene.
That car looks like a muscle car in the best possible way; big balloon tires and slight rake. Just fantastic.
83958 at 18,810 miles. First real exercise since 2006. Zero fuel injection issues with old fuel. Used sta-bil before going in to storage. Runs really well.... perfectly. Next issues: fill the AC, clean/lube window lifts and replace or adjust clutch. No clutch slippage - just a high pedal... hopefully next winter. Stay with R-12 refrigerant if possible. Car was designed for it. Yes, two mirror cars have no problem with rear visibility.
