Here is another picture of the 288GTO (55685) with the previous owner, renown chef James Martin. James Martin owned the car from late 2011 to 2013, at that time the car had the registration / number plate "6HEF" for CHEF. Joe I think you may have posted this picture before from Goodwood Festival of Speed. The below photo is from 2013 just after Karim bought the car, with its original UK number plates "C714XLO". So now we have 4 pictures with 4 number plates: 1 - the Italian plates that Joe posted, "PV 688645". 2 - when it came to the UK, with "6HEF" private plates put on by the first UK owner J Martin. 3 - in 2013 just after Karim bought the car, with its original UK number plates "C714XLO". 4 - then as it sits today with the fantastic plate that Karim managed to get for the car "GTO288S". and before anyone says it, no it is not a 288GTO "S", in the UK is a pain to get a good personal number plate the exactly signifies your car, it has to comply with the DVLA rules - the "S" is representative of the first letter of Karims surname.

Correct. First and original owner was a leasing company in Bologna, Italy. And between 2000 and 2003 this car was damaged when being flat-bedded from X to Y and the tow truck was broad-sided by a UPS truck. The GTO sustained damage that was futilely covered up in a shoddy repair/paint job. Once RL learned about this he decided to sell the car. Marcel Massini
