I've got to change my news feed. I look at it this morning and there's a "special feature" about climate change by some munter from UNSW (Dr Sarah two-fathers, probably a PhD in women's studies). "Myths de-bunked", it said. It starts of with a lot of hyperbole and a call to arms, and then, surprise, surprise, it quotes the "97%" article, which has itself been torn to shreds as rubbish. I might actually go to the trouble of registering for comments so I can blast these guys, although a mate of mine got banned from The Guardian because they flat out said that they were lefty greenies, and didn't like what he was saying. The world's faarked. https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/the-biggest-climate-change-myths-debunked/news-story/8d50dde389132c958c2f9fb0caee7944
Here's a better piece... https://the-pipeline.org/setting-the-record-straight-on-the-climate-debate/?fbclid=IwAR2bP37Bm9mteUsKrGrx1oHY_xCkYFIeCKPsHcUSdGGBljG1bl8Nz0albng
I've long resigned myself that we have a "climate industrial complex" made up of players who benefit from propogating alarmism and supported by a slowly dieing mainstream media that needs to frighten people with a ratings-driven 24-hour news cycle. 98% of the population doesn't attempt to learn the truth, they are happy to "go along to get along". In Australia we are wasting billions on pointless activity that will only increase electricity cost and reduce reliability, slowly removing what remains of our manufacturing sector. The Chinese government must roll around laughing at our self destruction and slow transfer of wealth to them. To paraphrase Donald Horne, we are a lucky country, run by fools.
You're correct on the highlighted bit - while they have whole cities that run on electric buses, high speed trains across the country, maglev rail for commutes, dozens of electric car choices BUILT IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY, every kind of energy production (from nuclear, coal, oil, gas, hydro, solar and wind), and are moving rapidly to reduce their purchases of foreign materials such as coal what do we do? Same as we did in the 50s...
FCAQ has shut up shop until July 31st................................................................................................ this year???????????????????????
I wouldn't know,I've given up on wearing Cavallino encrusted clothing.......and when 'our' little bunch of wonder's goes out the coffee has usually changed to a more alcoholic type of beverage.
We did it to protect the most vulnerable. ie:- the infirmed and the elderly. You can thank me later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not a fan of the Washington post as most of their articles are so far left they will fall of the left side of the flat earth. I digress However this has some good animations about controlling the Whuflu https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/world/corona-simulator/
Yep. I heard at work yesterday that a range of pre-existing drugs are being tested. If any prove effective that will significantly shorten the time required to get them out there as they are known safe and available.
Have you transported any disease ridden bastards yet ? Be safe mate, don't go near any nurses ..... I don't
I personally haven’t, although I did take off for Darwin to transport the very first SA case back to Adelaide, only to have to return to base with a minor tech issue! We have transported three in total in the jet (the one back to Adelaide and two from Darwin to Melbourne). You too.
Might be a bit late, but I was discussing retirement villages with my partner and I thought I'd do a Google search. https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/latest-news/stephen-george-snowden-court-outcome
