If you want to run 21", you should use 285/30R21 and 325/30R21, rather than 275/30R21. Same if you want to do a 20/21 combo. Use 285 in the front. If you go with the 325 in the rear but use 275 in the front, you will get additional understeer, and that's no fun in a sportscar.

Well people have run 335/25R22 section in the rears, so 325/30R21 should not pose a problem. Also, 325/30R21 has the same diameter of 28.7" as the OE, so all it needs is a bit more room in the width department.

Regarding the 285. It's not much bigger than the OE 275. If memory serves, there's quite a bit of room around the tyres. Also remember that there's room to use spacers. Diameter wise, the 285 is not much bigger than the OE.

But let's break it down a bit.
    Fronts first.

The OE MPS4S has a section width of 11.2" mounted on 10" wide wheels. Diameter is 27.6".
285/35R20 has a section width of 11.4" mounted on 10" wide wheels, so 2.6 mm of room is needed. Diameter is 27.9" so 4mm is needed.

    Rears are as follows.
OE MPS4S has a section width of 12.8" mounted on 11.5" wide wheels. Diameter is 28.7".
325/30R21 has a section width of 13" mounted on 11.5" wide wheels. Diameter is 28.7".

So going by that, I think it's pretty safe to say that it will work. One could of course run the OE 275 fronts with the 325 rears, so that's an option too.

thanks very much, usually i think about tire weight and wheel weights etc but one will not worry about weight and its handling with the v12 :)
