204 official cases diagnosed on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 15:00 local time; a fourth person died today from the virus, a 92-year old woman.
Spreading is quick where "clusters" are (notably département de l'Oise, département de la Haute-Savoie).

I'm worried about the economic impact, I'm about as healthy as they get for my age.

That’s a valid point ; one can only hope the economy resist the virus the best it can.

No intention to amplify fear whatsoever, believe me.
But some useful elements are starting to emerge here: the official statistic yesterday, Tuesday March 3rd at 20:00 was 212 diagnosed cases, of which (and that is what is the most interesting part) a whole 91 cases are in the same "cluster": direct consequences of the first two diagnosed cases in the Oise département. This morning, some new cases are already diagnosed in Brittany, which seems to become another "cluster" starting point...

It has already started to slow down here...not that it was that healthy, but it already shows.

Still not official yet, but it looks it will be official this evening or within some hours: all schools closed up to March 15.

257 confirmed cases at 17:00 on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 in France; 45 more than yesterday at 20:00.
Expanding, but not as fast than some feared.

All school closed in Italy up to March 15, it's now official. We had 3089 cases, just now: still growing 20%+ a day. 2706 still existing cases, 276 already recovered.

Very likely it will last long up to June, when the outdoor temperature will go over +27°C.

Finally they stopped public sports events for one month: they will be played without any public, only the players, judges and staff.

    ciao

It would be much worse with cold and maybe that's the reason why they have less cases than us.

I already wrote that surviving doesn't mean it's still infective, it loses quickly its virality charge. Over +27 Celsius it dies almost immediately out of human body

This is what a scientist here says

377 confirmed cases on Thursday, March 5th, 15:00.
120 more than yesterday at 17:00.
Two more dead for a total of six.

Progression of cases is even more spectacular in Germany, who has now more confirmed cases than us.

that's a +50% in a day. Germany is almost at 500 infected, today: same or even more increasing. That's what happened here and will happen everywhere: the virus spreads. It's spreading everywhere, like the flu does: it's a thing we have to accept without too much hysteria.

Cancer and heart attacks do many thousands of Deaths every day, but nobody looks to be too much worried about that

40 people died in Italy the last 24hrs, a total of 150, 4000 are infected.
In South Korea 6000 are infected, but only 35 died. Less than 1%
400 confirmed cases in Germany, no dead. Corona was imported by people who went skiing in Northern Italy (+5 people who imported corona fron Iran)
34 doctors died from Corona in China ..and 470 got a medal.

..and the whole world is frantically buying toilet paper.

Corona Virus started in China. Then the first infected in Europe was in France. Then happened one in Germany, then we had the first case in Italy: That's the story.
Today 140 recovered here in Italy, 3296 still infected. In Germany today there are 466 still infected. Ten minutes ago data.

Thanks, Bruno. I want to add a thing, for everyone: we had in Italy 148 deaths with Corona virus, ok, but the average age of them was 81 years and almost all already had big health problems (more than three chronic pathologies each as average)

    Please check the link below

What do you guys think about the upcoming Techno Classica in Essen, Germany, scheduled 25-29 of march? Until now almost all of the upcoming big fairs in Germany are cancelled, but SIHA (organizers of TC) are still awfully quiet about Essen. I am personally 100% sure they will cancel it with visitors normally coming from all over the world. But it is strange that there is no news yet. Insurance problems?

    Greetings from Germany....
