Couldn't find anything too negative really. Racing seats are great to have. Stick shift too of course. If service records are OK, it seems to be a good example. I would personally buy a coupe but it's what you want that counts. Make a bid of 80k and you shall have it!!

The coupe I drove had those carbon seats and they were just amazing. Probably overkill in a spider but they are really comfy!

That's not high mileage for an 18 year old car! So much better that its been driven than to have it sit. Get a PPI....I love the color!

Anything look too out of place or modified? The stereo isn't original obviously. Tubi exhaust is awesome..

    Thanks,

Pretty sure the only achilles heal on the 360 are the exhaust manifolds- and the convertible top can be a nuisance.

Carbon seats are worth the premium.

Check the service records and current condition. I wouldn't let the miles bother you.

I spoke with the dealer. Its a car they sold to someone 5 years ago and just took back. He only put about 1500 miles on it over that period.

It has had 4 previous owners and is from CA originally.

It does not come with any records.

The original radio is in the trunk in a box

It is due for a belt service which they would include at the price.

    Tires are 9 years old

    Any thoughts on that?

Looks good... I agree with MightyJoe and others and I would NOT worry about the overall miles on the car, but 1500 miles in the last 5 years may be low especially if it was 1000 miles the first year and the 500 miles over 4 years.

Either way, I would get the CarFax to see where the other the 4 owners lived and it may give you some insight if the car sat for a long time or not.

As ttforcefed mentioned, the exhaust manifolds can become an issue. I just replaced mine last year and it was $17K. I would have someone who really knows what they are doing perform a PPI and really check the exhaust manifolds carefully.

The only other item is the sticky button issue, but that happens to all cars and you can clean them yourself, it just takes time.

    Good luck!

17k?? Were they gold? Shldnt manifolds be like 6k to buy and 4k to install like an 430?

$6600 each? Better wipe the "sucker" off the forehead. And no, that does NOT indicate "normal" costs of ownership.

    They are OEM...

At Ricambi they currently only have one for the RHS for $5750 and they don't even have a LHS.

Like I said, this was a major cost, so I would get it checked carefully

Not wanting to get into a pissing match, but thanks for hurling the first insult :)

I never stated this was a normal cost of ownership, ttforcefed mentioned the issue, I just added my real life experience based on facts. The reality is that it is a bit more than $4k and a case of beer and it does happen.

Just like the heat exchanger issue that can happen and it is expensive. The heat exchanger may be more likely to happen if the coolant was not changed regularly, but Ithink there are still some failures that happen even if the car was properly maintained.

    Nuisance = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

But I agree. Nice car. Yet for me records are everything when buying a Ferrari. Mileage is not high IMO. When I bought my 360 a few years ago I looked for a car with at LEAST 18K miles. I settled on a 21K mile example. As others here have said, a car driven with respect and as it should be, is better than a garage queen with very low use and miles.

You absolutely can get superior quality headers for $4k and install them yourself...for the price of having them done at a dealer you can outfit your entire garage with lifts, air, and concubines.

My heat exchanger cost me no more than $500, unless you count the couple years off my life....of course mine was done proactively so there was no tranny rebuild involved.
