Given that I'll be selling mine this is of interest.
A quick search turns up some offerings at higher than I expected prices(ask)
    Any documented recent sales?

    Bid to $30k, but didn't sell: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-ferrari-400-4/

Interesting site suggesting that the values have gone up: https://www.classic.com/m/ferrari/365-gt4-22-400-412/ But bunches all varieties of the model together. Seems to me the 412 is leading that increase.

Just my two-cent opinion, but I'd guess (hope?) a nice, original 400iGT (not auto) without major needs or neglect should be worth $70-80k.

    Thanks Schumi.
The Marrone color of the last one sure is beautiful.
Mine's a series 1 automatic "i" so not quite comparable to most of those sales but at least something.

    Personal preference but I would take a 400i auto (the k-car of Ferrari's) over a 412 auto, even a 5 cog.

Body styling is one, the wheels are another and whats with the 2 natural cam covers? The 412 wheels and the higher trunk with taller tail panel to increase downforce took away from what just looked right in the eye of the designer at the time. TRX tires aren't my favourite but I think its the nicest looking wheel on a 400 and compliments the wheel opening perfectly. Puffy living room couch seats with push buttons everywhere isn't my style either. Form over function on the 365/400 I guess?

I also prefer the look, in and out, of the older 400i.
K-car ? I'd rather be the red headed step child.
I'm hoping the perception/market for them has improved.

Ill admit I never appreciated the 400 / 365 until I saw the one I currently own. I wasn't in the market for one at all but stumbled across it in a classic car showroom and had to have it. My kids love it and I use it A LOT.

I see one of them in the link is the Pete Townshend car owned by that dear ole chap who used to be an active member on here who had a large collection, can't remember his name. I nearly bought it from him just prior to him falling ill.

Well, asking ain't getting. The celebrity owned cars are outliers, so.....
    Any SALES to report?

Go to the auction sites, that's where the actual sales happen and is the only true indication of what any particular car is selling for.
