Ferraris block road to Key West for pics...

Having driven on US1 in the Keys, there typically isn't any other way to get in or out. Stunts like this give
exotic car owners a bad reputation...T

 

Those Lamborghini drivers are just plain Stupid

 

Exotic car clubs do this stuff in the city too. Shut down streets. Park. Gives us a bad name. Take pictures of the plates and send them a 5 figure ticket for obstructing traffic.

 

It happens more often than people acknowledge. These type of things are what stereotypes are based on. What a bunch of jerks.

 

At least in the City, there are other options or ways to avoid such blockage. What did these bozos did was to block the only way in or out of a whole City where people don’t have other choice but to wait.

 

True. The article indicated this was near Key Largo, so other end of the chain from Key West. Bad move regardless...T

 

They were probably all rentals from Miami. Flexing that daily rental rate wealth. lol

I’ve been stuck there more than once by bad crashes requiring emergency vehicles, etc. you are well and truly stuck.

 

Yup. Our first road trip to the Keys, we got caught in a miles long backup south of Key Largo near Tavernier. May have been a traffic accident. I can't imagine what would happen if it was somewhere like 7 mile bridge.

I'm ashamed to say I saw a few McLarens in that mix.

 

If the word wasn't already invented to label a feminine wash, someone would have invented the word ****** based on this event.

 

I counted 8 Lambos, 4 Ferraris, and 4 McLarens, so fair to blame Lambo drivers.

 

I surprised no one started hurling rocks at their cars and/or kick their asses. Wouldn't be surprised to see them get keyed in the future if anyone recognizes them from that pic. I know if they ever set foot in the Keys again they'll be lots of people ****ing with them.

 

Were there any FChat members participating in that road block?

 

Because things like this don't "justify" people scratching, denting, and abusing the exotic car when it's parked.

"It's OK if I stand on the hood to take a picture.. they blocked a road for one."
