Is the F430 more stable in similar situations than the 360? I understand the suspension was updated. Does the E-dif play into the stability of the F430 at all? If the extra hp is not really a factor, are there big differences in the stability of 360 vs F430 in corners or at higher speeds? I like my 360 stick a lot, just curious, when I have driven F430 in F1 and stick, the extra power and manettino switch (depending on the mode) has made the F430 seem a bit squirrelly with easier time breaking the rear loose, but 360 seems more on an edge to me. Wondering if the F430 has more safety built in as far as assisting driver skill levels. Thoughts? Robb
Back in 2005, I attended the first ever Ferrari driving school at Mt. Tremblant. While talking to a tech, he explained Ferrari made the rear end of the F430 softer to deal with the snap/spin issue of the F360. In fact, they were retro fitting the F430 Challenge cars with the F360 Challenge rear ends. This is from a sample size of one. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
