    If you unplug the airbag when removing the passenger seat, does it have to be reprogrammed? I reconnected the plug before remounting the seat, and now the dash is showing the airbag symbols and, of course, go to the dealer.

    You will probably need the dealer computer to clear the error faults. Of if you know someone with the Launch X431 Pro, they can also probably do it.

    I'm not positive though. Did you try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting? If you didn't, try that and it may work. If you did try it already, and it didn't work, then yes, it will require a computer.

    Boy I hope he did. Ive seen stereo installers blow air bags because to lazy to disconnect the battery.

    Always a good idea to use the quick disconnect when messing with electrical especially the airbags. Was also thinking much less chance of recording an error with the power off.
