Can someone tell me if this startup sounds like a dying battery or a dying starter? It doesn't sound right to me.
More like drive me for a while and see how it goes than change battery asap. Tender is not enough for v12 for a long period of time. Eventualy one has to drive for an hour or so. For me, tender is only for holding and not loosing battery power. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Actually I correct myself. Sometimes there are starter issues in between robust and dead, such as missing teeth. However, this clearly isn't your problem.
I recommend changing the tender to the Ctek 7002. If your car has an AGM battery then use the snowflake mode ("*") - this will really maintain the battery. The included tender can barely keep up and is more prone to damage from brownouts and surges. The 7002 is much more powerful and resilient.
BINGO! That's the one I use. The one that came with my 612 simply couldn't keep up. And I didn't set the alarm just so as not to add an additional drain.
