    Congrats, you'll love it!

Just make sure not to use any (silicone based) tire shine or any wheel cleaners, since they will degrade your ceramic brakes. Based on your prior message, it seems this could be your first car with such brakes?

Enjoy and make sure to PPF the front!

Don't let it sit in garage for more than 2 consecutive days. Buy the milk now!

I just got mine too and your information about the brakes is entirely new to me. Thank you.

Can I ask a silly clarifying question about the silicone for the tires. I’m assuming what you guys are saying is don’t use anything where you could possibly have “overspray” that gets onto the brakes right? I spray the tire gel onto a foam applicator and then carefully rub it onto the rubber. Nothing is ever sprayed toward the wheel

That's gotta be ok..... I would never spray anything like that on brake rotors esp CC brakes.... But, I'll let him respond as maybe there is something I (we) don't know.... As for the wheels I'd like to hear what everyone uses to clean them albeit my brake dust days are over!!! Yay!!

For 10 years I have only used water and a micro fiber towel (for any thing exterior).........and blow dry if you wash the whole car. If you feel like you must use something on tires, spray it on the towel and then apply. Just my 2 cents.

Problem is when you apply it on tires, it will stay and when you start driving before it dries out you just end up with residue around the wheels.

If you can let it dry, then place it on an applicator/pad and then rub it on. I use 303 rubber cleaner as it's water based and have had no issues. Certainly stay away from the Armor All, Turtle Wax, etc. as those are silicone based.

Also, place PPF behind the rear wheel wells underneath the car, as you'll start seeing primer within 2,000 miles.
