SCAM written all over it. Description is garbage, incorrect mileage and price is dead give away. RUN!
Would be fun to send this scammer an email and see what he wants. My quess is a 5k deposit to "reserve the car" and then you'll never hear from him ever again. 100% scammer for sure.
d And just to pile on those pictures were taken in San Antonio Texas where the car and owner resides.
One sign its a scam is when the private party person selling a rare exotic has a female name. [to avoid bunching any panties, I'll add that I know females do occasionally own these cars, but for some reason when I see obvious scams on autotrader or cars.com, they always have a female name]
Very interesting material.... when Ferrar put its original data & documents of the Challenge Stradale at FIA for racing homologation, back in March 2004. (Group N GT) This link shows it all: https://historicdb.fia.com/sites/default/files/car_attachment/1486841402/homologation_form_number_7_group_n.pdf

properly priced cars will sell nowadays at the same pace as recent years/months imho. If you mean compared to some other time, compared to when? Since 2015 its been steady downward (although maybe flat-ish over the past year or so). Since 2011, up a lot.
This new listing does seem a bit under the "guesstimate model" the market suggested recently - or at least in the lower part of the range. That model suggested a sale price of $210k for a red, no stripe 8k car (although I did say +/-5%, so a range of $200-220k). They are only asking $205k...so if the car is in good condition, it seems priced to sell...
any idea where its been since he sold it back in 2016? If that car is in the same condition as then, its a great deal at $205k...I believe it sold for $240k+ four years ago. And hardly has any miles since then...
No idea. It won a bunch of platinum awards back in 2015/2016. Only 1k miles in 3.5 years. Asking price down from 265k to 205k.
I think you are right...I took a quick look at cars.com and some good (if not storied) cars are out there with lower asking prices than expected: https://www.cars.com/for-sale/searchresults.action/?mdId=20832&mkId=20014&rd=99999&searchSource=QUICK_FORM&zc=85281 Red 8600 miles $225k Red 8900 miles $205k Red 9800 miles $210k Red 12,700 miles $200k Black 23,400 miles $176k Titanio 29,500 miles $180k (supposedly 1 owner?) Last year ~10k mile clean red cars were asking $220k or more iirc...now you have 4 listed with 8600-12,700 miles with asking from $200-$225k (3 between 200-210). And the actually driven, non-red cars are going for a lot less. I'd say the market looks to be down maybe roughly 10% from a year ago (my wag).
^ These facts are where my comment stemmed from. I don’t really care about value. Mine will be paid for July next year and I bought to enjoy. To me, it’s a special Ferrari, nothing else matters. So many people focus on monetary value over the pleasure of enjoying the cars. But that’s jmo. I really know nothing. Meanwhile, time to put a third coat of spray ceramic on her then take her for a nice ride through Red Rock Park.
correct, I paid 220 for mine, I think that’s right around where they should be. The guys asking 240 will either sit and wait or lower when and if they get impatient.
