No sir I’m not going to change one thing about the car. However, I will throw in the used parts from the first and only belt change it had 10 or 12 years ago.
I thought since we’re getting a little closer to spring I would bump this thread. Still haven’t listed my car anywhere else and if it doesn’t sell this spring I’ll probably put it up until next spring. One member said when I first posted the ad that if it Image Unavailable, Please Login was still for sale in six months he would buy it, and while we’re not yet six months out we’re getting closer.
Guys I’m not being unreasonable, the car really is probably the best of its kind in the world. Car has never been washed, there’s absolutely no rust not even flash rust. The interior looks like new and smells new. And remember it is a one owner car. I really appreciate all the interest and nice words. I might take 99 if I knew it was going to the right home, but don’t tell my wife.
Ferris, my father loves this car more than life itself. A man with priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile. [Ferris caresses the car in admiration] No. No! Apparently, you don't understand! Ferris, he never drives it! He just rubs it with a diaper!
Was there a compelling event that made you decide to park and store the car? I don’t have that kind of willpower and am genuinely curious.
What a beautiful example in new condition. If you decide not to sell it Ron, please do one thing......DRIVE IT!!! It’s amazing. Life is no dress rehearsal
No dog in this fight and I don't prop up sales often but this seems to be a deal if anything for mileage and single owner.. glws. Very nice example. Sent from my SM-F900U using Tapatalk
Thanks and I don’t think there’s another one out there like this, so if someone’s looking for truly the best of the best this would be their choice.
This car is worth every penny of the asking for sure. The problem I see is that whoever buys it will end up having to keep it in nearly the same condition (i.e. hardly ever drive it) to justify the price. This car will never ever be driven more than a token miles each year - if bought at or near $100k - and that is both its blessing and its curse.
This is what I always mean by neatly used cars. You made proper use of it. I really love the ride but my finances don't really like it as much as I do. Nice car.
Thank you and I have enjoyed owning this beauty but it’s time to pass it along. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Obviously not a good time to be selling a vehicle so if it doesn’t sell soon I will pull it from the market and try again next spring. If I do that I will make more of a concerted effort and do more than place an ad here on Fchat.
I know this sounds like an odd comment. But pm me next year or lets talk next year I was on the fence until the whole market just tanked. Keep me in mind.
That offer came the day I put it up for sale and I think most reasonable people would agree that the world has changed just a little bit since then. But you’re right I don’t have to sell it, I don’t need to sell it and part of me doesn’t really want to sell it. Intellectually however I realize I can’t keep it in definitely.
Wow this is just unreal. A real life Car vault. Is your garage air conditioned? Our Texas heat is brutal.
For most of its life the car has been stored in a climate controlled garage and presently we keep the garage heated in the winter and because our house is foam insulated the garage doesn’t get as hot as most Texas garages.
