That is pretty good. Better than my 575M, but then it has a more efficient induction system.

Typically 12 to 14. But, I did see 18 on a trip to Philly. Kept it around 72 most of the way. I was pleasantly surprised.

My 599 driving is mostly two lane roads. I get between 10.5 - 12 mpg.

Right on. Highway better. Last week I went about 250 miles on 19-20 gallons before I had to stop.

Not much.... I seem to fill her up ever time I go for a drive... Like Chris Harris said - I think there is a hole in the fuel tank....

believe it or not this all sounds wonderful to me....the 456mgt returns 5-6mpg in town. i might get to 12 mpg on highway. and i am not revving it and running it in a lower gear - exactly the opposite. drinks like a fish.

It's a bit thirsty. I found my 612 felt like a hybrid in comparison! Used to get 30 on the freeway runs at a steady 90. 599 seems to be in the low teens mostly

The 599 gets better mileage than my SL55. That was a pleasant surprise.

And remember, an Imperial gallon is 4.54L, US gallon is 3.78. So add 20% to the US figures.

I’m only getting 5-6 mpg. It’s not the money that annoys me, it’s the constant pit stops. My car has 12k miles and seems to be in tune. No smoke or rich burning smell. I’ve experiments with very easy driving, low RPM shifts and in Auto mode. Nothing makes much difference. Does anyone have an idea for this and why some others are so much higher? I’m looking for a mechanical - technical answer.

612 or 599? Are you driving in Auto or shifting? Shifting is better for the car, my 599 is closer to 15 per gallon. On the road I can easily go for three hours without a stop.

I'm shifting, but for the sake of experimentation I also have tried it in auto shift. When shifting, I'm generally between 2500-3500. I've had the car for 2 years and this has been the case. It's much worse than my Z06 and my H1 Hummer. As I mentioned, it's also very difficult to pump gas into it. It's as if there's a air block, that keeps kicking back to the pump; which in turn shuts off as though the tank is full.

I’d say mileage is not great in town - highway pretty reasonable in 6 th.... I’m filling up every week for$50-60 that’s about half a tank

I get 12.5 around town driving. Freeway cruising can get 14. Spirited driving about 10-11. 2009 599.

I would love to know why I'm at 1/2 that MPG. I hate going into gas stations twice a week with this car.
By the way EP328, do you have any issues pumping gas into your car?

It didn't do to well on the top gear supercar fuel test. I get about 10 mpg around town and about 8 mpg in the wild, never use highways if I can avoid them.

My 2010 HGTE is about 8 mpg around town and I can manage 12 mpg on the freeway. Not exactly stellar but a lot of fun!
