I'm looking at reaching a deal on a preowned 612. I know that my 360 came with 2 keys, 2 black fobs, 1 red fob, all important alarm pin, radio pin, car cover, seat covers, steering wheel cover, tools, flat tire inflating kit, books.

The 612 does not have fobs but 2 keys. Besides books and battery tender what did a 612 come with new? Covers, tools, alarm pin, radio pin, flat tire inflating kit?

    Thanks,
    Jes

My OTO came with 2 keys, a key card, cover (including seat and steering wheel covers), a toolkit, a leather pouch holding a bunch of manuals (including quick reference guides for the car and the stereo/nav system), a front license plate frame, and the charger.

    I think that's everything.

The one I'm looking at has a red VIP leather pad/book in the trunk with the books and records - not sure what benefit, if any, that brings...?

My pouch for the books is dark tan and by Schedoni leather. The VIP book I'm thinking of is the photo book with pictures from the assembly line

I see. I didn't look inside, but it was separate from the leather pouch with manuals. It was a squarish leather folder with VIP stamped on it.

So you did get the picture book!? I am still trying to get an answer if mine ever got one or not and am going through the dealer to contact the original owner for an answer.

You have a VIP book? That is really nice. It doesn't really give you a benefit except for the fact that you have pictures of the car during the different stages of production. I would have loved to have such a book. :)
Mine came with a cover, toolkit, leather wallet with all the books, 2 keys, key code card and a Becker radio code card.

Yes. Mine mostly had pictures of the delivery rather than production pictures.

I forgot to mention-- both the VIP book and the manual pouch for my car are in cuoio leather, which is also the main leather color in my car.

I got a few other things as well, but they wouldn't technically be considered as items that came with the car.

The 612 I spent a lot of time with & modified has the VIP book. The photos were from the bare chassis up to final paint detail. It is a spectacular addendum.

Looks like we have a deal - awaiting final approval by GM. Should know tomorrow afternoon.

No resolution. I'm losing my patience with this F-dealer and may just move on.

Looks like they were entertaining two buyers and sold to the other party. That explains why they didn't bother to get back to me although sales guy said that deal should be ok and just needed GM approval. A call back would have been courteous. Oh well, the search goes on.

Which I now have :) Deal was reached and deposit made. It is a 2007 612 F1 with HGTC, daytona seats, front & rear parking sensors, homelink, shields, diamond stitched headliner in Silverstone and Cuoio, 9000 miles. Now I can't wait to get back from vacation ;)

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I thought it better than starting a new one on this really nerdy question, lol.

First, what does the VIP book look like and what were the circumstances of it being created? One for each car? Promo book? Nerds need to know.

Also, my 2010 OTO came to me second hand with the silver maglite in the book pouch. It was corroded, but not so badly I couldn't get the batteries out and clean it really good. So it works just fine now. But I was curious if it just came loose in the pouch or was it in a gift box like what is shown in the parts diagram?

Better late than never. 2005 612 came without tool kit, tire repair kit, and who knows what else? The books all there in leather pouch. Any comments and/or sources for what's missing appreciated.
