    Hello there

I recently decided to remove the upper/lower steering column plastic cover to refurbish them due to the sticky issue, and when I did noticed this little ( aftermarket ? ) LCD screen.

I don't even know how I manage not to see it before ( actually I did not put many miles on it yet ), but yeah I have no idea what is the purpose of this. I will connect it back soon to see if it does displays something cause for now I have no idea.

I tried to find informations but hmmm... nothing found yet.

Here is a picture. "Funny" thing, it has a Mercedes Benz logo on one of its connector, so ... ?o_O

    Yes it does.

I wonder if somehow that would be connected to the aftermarket alarm installed.
But a lcd display for an alarm, Hmm what for ? o_O

Nice little mystery you have here. Was this display mounted so that it could be visible to the driver? Or visible only if the car is stopped and you make a particular effort? I am wondering if this is meant to be an OBDII code monitor.

To me it looks like the outside air temperature display from a Mercedes W124. Very strange it ended up in a Ferrari!
Does it display anything or is it blank?
