    Hello,

Ferrari dealer warned against installing an after market exhaust to the F12 as it will void the warranty. Will it be known to the dealer if I were to install and uninstall the exhaust every time I service the car?

    Tips welcome.

Do you live it the USA, if so they cannot just void your warranty. If the exhaust caused something to go wrong with the car, they could (at their discretion) not fix that issue under warranty.

Not a question I'd be relying of Ferrari Chat for an answer.

If you are in the USA you need a new dealer.

Ferrari and most manufactures have the right to void a warranty on any item that may be affected by a modification that changes the performance of their car. When modifying, it is always buyer beware.

It will not void your warranty. BUT if something happens as a result of said part installed, the repair will not be covered under warranty

    Don't live in the USA.

My question is on the technical side of things:

Will installing an after market exhaust then uninstalling and putting back the factory original be detected with a check (ECU/Physical check.. etc)?

No, it should not be detectable, but that is a lot to go through each time the car goes to the dealer. I would invest in a very good scanner so you can clear any codes yourself.
