A longtime client's F40 currently in for TLC. The F40 keeps it's cool with a proliferation of vents - front, sides, and especially the rear. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That F50 has been delivered, and another one is in it's place that will also soon be delivered. I posted this elsewhere but it belongs specifically in this thread, a USA F40 today beginning it's transition from one gentleman's ownership to that of another, a Supercar dream coming true Image Unavailable, Please Login

the 172 mile car still has the factory finish silver exhaust box, before repeated heat cycles turn it to the bronzed/tan/brownish look - amazing!!!
That's a benchmark car that I have carefully recorded all aspects of to use as a reference when I am inspecting other F40s.
In the USA. This F40 is Exhibit A in the case for an unmodified, unmolested and original USA F40. For example, when F40s left the factory, they had some trace overspray in certain areas, small paint runs and non-symmetrical fitment of some components when comparing driver's side with passenger side. The uninitiated can & will make an erroneous claim that an F40 has had some paintwork or has had a component replaced because of this basic lack of knowledge of the typical finish in which many cars left the factory. It's useful to have some cars preserved like this and those who bemoan that every car should have travelled 100,000 miles by now not only are unrealistic but are overlooking the fact that it is a very good thing that a few cars have been preserved and recorded in this state.
Yes, some of it applies but some doesn't, he speaks mostly of a cat & adjust car which does apply to Tipo USA cars, also, USA cars have aluminum gas tanks whereas the European cars have rubber fuel cells which require replacement periodically so there's a different set of concerns there.
USA F40 that lived inside the house is now going to a gentleman who has waited patiently for the right F40 for him Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations to all parties involved, buyer, seller and intermediaries. That F40 will continue to deliver joy, excitement and experiences that will be most memorable.
Yesterday was an F40 red letter day. In the morning I met up with my client, a fantastic Supercar enthusiast fulfilling his F40 dream with one of the best F40s we've sourced. It's always a special moment when a longtime dream is being achieved and after 12 years of prior ownership, I have a feeling this F40 just found another great home Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next, I visited with another F40 currently in storage that is in process of transitioning from one gentleman to another, I wanted to lay hands & eyes on the suposedly original books & tools myself to ensure the car would come with what we expected Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interestingly, this early 1990 F40 is another that was delivered as a new F40 in California to a Los Angeles gentleman by the famed Hollywood Sport Cars, who also serviced it Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cad-plating still yellow, needs a detail though, totally original example, paint overspray is from the factory Image Unavailable, Please Login
