Went to run the car for the first time since it came back from a recall. Car won't engage a gear - 1st or reverse. Any ideas? Battery is low, so it needed to be jumped, but it fired up fine. Just can't get it out of neutral. Snapon scanner didn't show any codes, but it may not catch everything. Anyone have any thoughts?

Best bet would to be to check it with a VCI,that will show you pretty much everything.

Mine had similar issue. Replace the battery. If voltage is weak it won’t engage the actuator properly... even with a charge.

That's what I was hoping...fingers crossed. Did you use a lithium ion battery as a replacement by chance, and if so, what brand/model?

    Thanks!

Used an Odyssey PC950 (ER30) Extreme Racing Battery at the suggestion of my Ferrari tech. After replacement we scanned and all readings were good/in range and I haven’t had the N issue since.

Was this the firewall recall. If yes then I would look at brake light switch adjustment.

brake light switch adjustment or switch itself could indeed be the culprit; we had an issue with that and resolved by replacing the switch.
