Pfft. All 4 NFC East teams were either overrated or atrocious. A troop of determined Girl Scouts could have beaten them this year! :D

Dang it, Jason & Mike, I just googled "catching kelce winner" and I am sorry I did.
If that's the best tail an elite NFL TE can get, it almost makes me glad I sucked at sports! :)

I don't think Dallas will keep Amari Cooper.
I don't think they will spend what Dak wants.
Dallas has the 17th pick in the draft, I can see them saying goodbye to Dak and drafting a QB.
So, who would happily pick up Dak and his commanded salary?
Who NEEDS a QB - one in which Dak would be an OBVIOUS improvement?
    Who has the cap space?
Even with 77 mill, Dallas cannot afford to keep all of the key players.

Among the teams you listed with a lot of cap room, Buccaneers or Fins might be most plausible. Bears might love to move on from Trubisky, but got no cap room. If I had to guess, Dallas will pay Dak, not Coop. Then in a few years when he gets tired of being on a perpetual also-ran, they can remind him that it's his fault and Zeke's...T

I don't think Miami would benefit from a Dak-type, I just don't think he can 'carry' a team.
I think he stays in Dallas, but they will continue to flounder until they get a legit #1 TE and a
legit #2 WR, I think they have a #1 WR, and his name is not Amari.

How so? By injecting some reality into the TB12 to Dallas rumors, or are you disappointed with the quality of gold digger that Kelce can attract?

TB going to Dallas will not improve his or Dallas' chances of getting to the SB, let alone winning one.
Dallas does not have and cannot afford all the skill position players they need.
They have Zeke, nobody at TE, Amari doesn't show he gives a s***, Michael Gallup is good,
Randal Cobb is past his expiration date, there is nobody else - no 'game changers'.
Look at the teams in the SB - both had multiple really good receivers, Dallas cannot do that.

i don't know much about this but Tom, doesn't Dallas have a boatload of key guys with big contracts coming up and a cap space problem? Esp. if they give that QB they have Brady or Wentz money, not that he's anywhere near worth what those two guys are.

I think they're one of the teams that had the most cap space, if I remember the data that Whisky posted. Their OL is mostly making big coin, Zeke and a few guys on D like Lawrence. Dak and Cooper will need to be paid...T

Prhaps they need Preston Pearson, Drew Pearson, Lance Alworth, Golden Richards, Tony Hill, Walt Garrison all to come back?

I am not so sure they will retain Amari, he showed his attitude in the playoffs,
so much so they didn't even use him, he wasn't even in the game.
They let Cole Beasley go and picked up Cobb, who did little... that says a lot.

I never go to games, but I heard today that the pricing for XFL was very reasonable compared to going to an NFL game. At some point this is going to reach a bubble with all sports I think. I just don't think these salaries can keep going up and up.

The salaries are in-line with the TV revenue.
Only when that goes down will salaries go down, but as I have said all along,
'If the players don't make it, the owners keep it, either way, someone is getting rich'.

There's a price point st which people will decide to stop going because it's so much nicer at home. My opinion of course.

    Has not happened yet.
It depends - like in every sport - if the team is winning - if people show up or not.
The main money is in TV revenue and selling junk like jerseys and hats, not people in the stands.

It's the QB's money that is insane. Mahomes will be the first $40 million a year QB and then in a couple of years someone will be the first $50 million a year QB.

At what point do they stop this nonsense and do what the NHL did, which was roll back everyone's salary 25%

If you live up north, where it's cold, I don't understand why anyone outside the luxury boxes goes to a game. 82" TV, home theater, surround sound. That would have to be better than freezing your butt off and paying $$$ for grub...T

Revenue in the NFL has to be a bunch lower though, no? I agree with Whisky, players don't get it, owners don't keep it. Alternative idea, neither keeps it and roll the money into CTE research!!?
