    Hi All
I had my 348TS serviced about 20 months ago at my local Ferrari sprecialist in Worcester and as i was driving home, i pulled away hard and the revs seemed to stick around 7k and not go down. I switched the engine off and back on and it was fine. I hardly use the car, so when i complained the Company who serviced it said it was too late.
The car drives absolutely perfect, but if i pull away fast, the revs stick again - unfortunately now, if i switch the engine off and back on, it still is at high revs - then it seems to fix itself.
The accelerator is not stuck and the odd thing is that i checked whilst it was revving in the stuck position and the carbs were closed.
Any ideas what this could be?

As a starter Check you accelerator cable which opens the throttle valves. If your engine revs are high push is throttle valves back in the engine compartiment.
The cable might need some lubrication (oil)

Another idea... Some 'stickiness' in revs can occur if the battery has been disconnected/switched off and then reconnected and the car not left to idle long enough for the ECU to reset itself. Need to start the engine and not touch the gas for several minutes, allowing it enough time to figure out air-fuel mix etc. If don't leave it for long enough before driving, it can give the odd sticky stutter.

Well the OP hasn't been on here in 26 weeks so he must have fixed it !?

However his post does not really make sense "...and the carbs were closed". Not sure what he is referring to here...no carbs on a 348!

But with respect to the symptoms mentioned, the linkage can easily come off the accelerator pedal but still partially function...ask me how I know!
