He may need to also develop a better sense of when to chuck it away. Of course, that'll also cut down on those circus plays he's becoming famous for...T

Watson is beyond generous, and a class act.

I remember seeing a few years ago, during the floods/hurricanes in Houston, when 3 kitchen staffers (all women, who cook the meals for the Texans) lost their homes. Watson called all 3 of them into a meeting, and handed them a cheque each for a new house. That is incredibly humane of him to do so.

I don't know if he bought them homes, I know he did give them his first pay check I believe it was.

    Texas!
One reality is Watson is responsible for a lot of his sacks. He holds onto the ball too long. Sometimes it works, others it doesn't. Plus, a lot of his "sacks" occur when he decides too late to run with the ball. The good news is at least he is moving. The classic pocket NFL QB gets cut in half during a sack.

    Not a good fit.
If anything, i see him being a Charger.
The problem is the Chargers don't gain anything they don't already have.
I would bet he stays in NE.

Chargers need some juice moving into a new stadium in LA that's not their own. I think TB12 could provide that. Football wise, at this point, not much of an improvement over Philip Rivers IMO, but in terms of star power, he'd be a major upgrade...T

The Chargers do need juice, but the only juice that could help them comes from high tension wires. Frankly I don't think Tom would attract that many buyers for PSLs. Actually I can't imagine anybody could put fannies in the seats in their new rented stadium. Even the Rams fall behind the Lakers, Dodgers, Clippers, and Angels in the hearts of LA fans.

The best thing for the Chargers is to void their lease and become the St. Louis Chargers. Those fans would embrace them.

Bad news for the Pats. Dante Scarnecchia at 72 has decided to retire as the Pats offensive line coach. Dante has been one of the best O Line coaches in the NFL.

Editorial note: This probably doesn't help encourage TB12 to come back to the Pats. :(

I agree. The NFL needs to make the Spanos family sell the Bolts, make them return to SD, and work a viable stadium deal with the folks down there. They're totally irrelevant in LA...T

Yes, going back to SD is the best, but I don't think that is in the cards.

...and in other news, the Philadelphia Eagles have elected to spare their loyal fans the pain of position by position injuries in 2020 and have immediately replaced the entire starting offense and defense, plus all special teams players with the practice squad and the guys who are trying to make the practice squad.
