These are all identical as far as I can tell and now dirt cheap at around $55-80.

Testarossa Wing Mirror Switch # 61557900 located on the centre console, is identical to a Land Rover Discovery/Freelander part: AMR2498 and is considerably cheaper than a Ferrari packaged item...

Do you mean fan switch or water thermostat? I believe the earlier TR is Volvo, and rad switch is VW. Just from memory. I think both are somewhere in this cross reference.

I got a pair off Rock Auto for a Volvo (cheap). Going to install them in my 87 TR in the next few weeks. I will post how they fit!

    ?

My post referenced the part number listed in the posts suggested above... that part number doesn’t show up on any American website...

    Is there another number?

These fit a 512TR but the build quality did not seem as robust as the Ferrari units. Then again, all they do is open and close and these were $11 each IIRC versus $150+

Thanks. Will look at those. Googled Volvo thermostats from the same year... 3-6$.

I replaced mine with the correct Ferrari ones 12 years and 5000 miles ago. They didn’t last particularly long...

Bo, try this number with Rock Auto. #271 664.
I installed them in my 87 TR. Temp does not move off 195F. stays there hot or cold weather.
Drill small bleed hole in rim of new thermostat. duplicates the Ferrari one.

Bo, if you want to try the thermostats in the photo, they are all yours. Send me your address and I'll mail them out.

I think that this thread here is only for cross reference numbers to find fast and not for a lot of discussion as it is just now

Accel Super Stock ignition wires have a 500 kOhm per foot resistance, which is within TR spec.

When you test: mine opened fine, but didn't close all the way. On the hi way temp would fall below 160F. The Volvo replacements run 195F steady all the time.
