Because I never have to worry about facotored runway landing distance on the king air. The Phenom is great but i like to never have to worry about runway length with the king air. I also like the fuel planning on the king air vs Phenom I burn the same at basically altitude the Phenom not so much, getting slammed early by ATC on long flight with phenom causes a problem with fuel burn.

I'm in for annual on my '06 Meridian and was way overdue on a prop overhaul. Got a good price on the Hartzell 5 blade and went for it. Hope I don't regret it.

Its a fantastic upgrade. it flies different, It takes the power better on the roll. It also takes almost 5 min to achieve max speed at altitude. I see about 266 true at 28. It REALLY slows on the flare. Smooth and quiet.

It’s was in and out of both of those airports many times, was based and KBJJ though. There is a turbo in the hanger same color at KCGF where my two planes are at now. I still miss that plane and might pick up another one this year sold it when I got the KA.

We have had several pilots in the family, but my favorite airplane stories were from my dad, telling us about his time in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a Navy SeaBee (construction services within the military), and his group was sent in first to make the facilities so that the planes could land. In his spare time, with the base machine shop available, he made models of what he saw in his time there, and this one sits on my desk. Dad has been gone almost ten years, but I used to take him around in his last years in my Ferrari to visit his old friends.

The 1994 Waco YMF-5 that I owned for 7 years and flew all over the USA (and Europe, in 1997).
This photo was taken at my fantasy hangar/home in the desert.
(I had this crazy idea that I wanted to keep my biplane and my car toys in my bedroom)

That's a 275 GTB/4 on the left, and the Scaglietti Corvette on the right (now in the Petersen Museum)
(and a blue Viper GTS in the garage off the right wingtip).
Now a 2017 California T is my daily driver.

ha, I knew how to play your game. I was Columbia 400 and y'all would take me down way way out of DFW class B, so I would cancel IFR. I could hear the sigh through the radio. :D

Indirectly, in the sense that the Vagabond was the basis for what would be the PA-20 Pacer which was then evolved into the flying milk-stool, the PA-22 Tri-Pacer

The Pacer and Tri-Pacer are 4 seaters though.

After the Vagabond came the Clipper until Pan Am said that they were the only one in the world that could use that name. So, the Clipper became the Pacer.
