Where can I get a PPI in California near Madera? It is north of Fresno. The dealer wont do it. He wont even tell me what needs to be done to the car, though he will do that inspection on every other Ferrari. That means I cant get it worked on there either ,since he wont tell me what is needed to repair. That is taking the no PPI thing ovet the edge into madness.

Silicon Valley is $400 each way for the Car dealer to take it from Madera. San Fran would be $1600 rt to Maadera for transport.I spoke with Silicon

The reason he gave Madera was that a "safety inspection" would be renamed a PPI if Madera had a client interested in the car. Once it was renamed, they couldnt do the work since they dont do PPIs.It seems like I am kidding when I write it down....

A lot of dealers have opted out. PPI's aren't worth the headache or scrutiny if they mess something up. It's 3 hours, but why not try to flatbed it to Patrick Ottis?

Thanks. Patric Otis ? Number? Opting out of PPIs is understandable. Not doing a repair inspection is over the edge . There is no sales liability to do the job that the service dept does every day on other cars.

I appreciate the good suggestions. They look like suitable shops if there was an affordable way to transport the car that far.

Drive the car there ;). No better PPI than that! If it can make it there, get inspected, and make it back... seems like it would be a winner.

I think it would be more than that. I'm in Fresno and on way to Silicon Valley is $800.

Doesn't SF motorsports have a pickup trailer service? Maybe call & ask what the extra fee's would be roundtrip.
