Carbon I could start on the SA Aperta book while you work on the Enzo book. I'll whip something up in PowerPoint. Are you going to make me harvest all the serial numbers in here or can you help a brother out? -F
I'm not sure - although I think there are several generalized texts out there that touch on Ferrari's contemporary V8s. But if I write one, it's gonna focus on a specific model, and only mention that model's predecessors as an introduction. And, of course, there will be a comprehensive list of serial numbers, with as many breakdowns as I can manage (country, F1 vs manual, colors, options, years, RHD, LHD, etc.). I don't have every Aperta color in my database. Some Aperta serial numbers are just that - serial numbers without any additional information. I would have to go through the list to see just how many Apertas for which I have color information. Having 120 Aperta VINs is fun, but it'd be better if I at least had exterior and interior color information to correspond with each of those VINs. Anything with a full list of serial numbers is gonna have my name on it.
This is Blu Avio Metallic (not my photo, but this specific car was rumored to be crashed by Ferrari personnel during preparation for a Top Gear episode). If I had to be stubbornly discerning, I'd say it's almost entirely unnoticeably darker than Azzurro California. But hot damn it's close. Doesn't anyone know when Azzurro California was removed from the standard color pallet, and when Blu Avio Metallic was added? Was Blu Avio Metallic added to replace Azzurro California? This SA Aperta wearing Rosso Fuoco would make a nice 'book end' with the 599 GTO in the same color. Both are Canadian market vehicles. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I think that the only way to complete a 'registry' is to try contacting Ferrari Classiche, as most SA owners don't waste time reading forums.

Does anyone know who owns 599SA #181885? I have the original factory storage bags for the carbon fiber roof panels and the 93mph warning sticker for the temporary top that are original to the car. The bags retail and sticker retail for an outrageous price. I would be willing to sell them to the owner of the correct car for a fraction of the retail price. Brian Brown San Francisco Motorsports
That is indeed an ex-Swedish car, actually 1 of 2 that Autoropa delivered new here in Sweden. Looks as gorgeus as when I saw her back in 2012!
