One of 5 yellow US numbered cars. I inspected it when it lived in WI. Lots of rust. Later fixed up cosmetically.

308: I think if you wait and check the auction company sites when they publish the results, you will find "Hammer price" DOES include the premium. However, when the lot does not sell, "Hammer price" shows the actual bid without a premium.

Yes, it's what I'm also being told, the prices include buyers premium.

The Hammer Price app shows the hammer price if sold or the high bid if not sold.

The auction houses show the price incl commission

You can choose if you want to see the results including buyers premium or not in the settings of the Hammer price app. Of course the highest bids of unsold cars are always without premium.

Watching the RM auctions last night seems to confirm the conventional wisdom that Scottsdale is not kind to Ferrari’s.

As Italian Tuneup points out, with Hammer Price you can have it either way. I chose to see the prices that include the premium. I did just confirm this by comparing the Hammer Price results with my notes from the auctions.

Not Ferrari, but does anyone know where the Gooding 1960 Maserati 3500GT topped out yesterday? I was watching the livestream but got a client call right when it came to the block . . . .

According to Hammer Price, the '60 Maserati 3500 GT received a high bid of only $220,000. I see it listed as available for $280,000 post auction now. Seems like a great, honest car. However, the early versions, with the 4 drum brakes, and only a 4 spd. aren't as useful as the later version with the discs & 5 spd. OD ZF transmission.
Still, I thought that this car would have done better. These cars a much more refined, and rare than an Aston Martin of the period, yet the AMs are more than double the price!

I was a bit surprised to see the '72 Daytona Spider sell at just $1.75 mill at Gooding yesterday. Seem low?

Geez, the Ferris Buelers Day Off movie car replica (of a 250 California Spyder) sold for $360k + premium so $396k.

I'd think that car can be built for $100k

I noticed a new trick that BJ does now they have a description online and in the catalog
And then just as bidding starts they give a modified description and they read that along with stating this supersedes the description in the catalog and of course that is where they say-it has been in an accident or the mileage has a conflict on car fax ...real POS way to do business ..

I know it was a replica but almost $400k for it? That's crazy, I could have that car built for $100k.
